The functioning of Corporate Relation Team for placement is done through members of Corporate Relation Team and the members of Industry Institute Interaction & Placement Cell (IIIPC). The responsibilities of Corporate Relation is to establish the contacts with companies to arrange for placement training and on campus and off campus drives. IIIPC members are drawn from each department to facilitate the CR team by internally arranging the students by collecting the information about a student profile and the area of their interest and communicate the same to CR team for placement and training activities. The members of CR team are given below.
Objectives
♦ To cultivate symbiotic relationship between college and industry and other research institute.
♦ To have a closer linkage and promote the students suited to industry needs, and consultancy.
♦ To develop awareness among students about industry hierarchy and technical aspects.
♦ To ascertain the roles and responsibilities while working in the industry.
♦ To establish links with Industry like organizing for training programme, Industrial Visits, Expert talks of Industrialists, Promoting Industry Oriented Projects etc.
♦ To coordinate the campus interaction activities with Industry.
♦ To collect student profile from members of IIIPC.
♦ To arrange for registration of students for placement training programme.
♦ To arrange for on campus placement drives to different branch of students.
♦ To identify off campus placement opportunities and ensure the participation of the students in the off campus drive.
