Examination committee is constituted under the scheme of autonomy through the following Process,
✔️ The Principal is the chairman of the examination committee.
✔️ Senior members, the head of the departments and the controller of examinations are the members of the examination committee.
✔️ The examination committee is reconstituted once in every academic year.
✔️ The date of examination committee meeting is informed well in advance to the members of the examination committee.
✔️ To the maximum 2 chief coordinators (HOD’s) and 4 supporting staff will be the team of the committee.
Functions of Examination Committee
✔️ Prepares and display an overall Supervision Duty List.
✔️ The Exam Committee shall hold a pre-exam meeting to brief the members of faculty with regard to the examination procedures and the role and responsibilities.
✔️ Prepares smooth conduct of Examinations, Invigilation duty chart, Seating allotment in the Examination halls (for CIA tests) etc.
✔️ Ensures that the entire exam related documents reach the COE office in time.
✔️ Conducts Internal Assessment examination as per academic calendar.
✔️ The collected documents (the confession letter by the student, a letter of report by the concerned invigilator, manuscripts / photo copied answer content or any other relevant material recovered from the student at the time of malpractice) in malpractice cases are also submitted for consideration and decision to the members of the committee.
✔️ The resolutions of the examination committee meeting is recorded.
✔️ The decisions recommended by the members of examination committee is forwarded to COE for final decision.
