The Department of Psychology is a new course established recently in the year 2021. It consists of well-experienced faculty members with good subject knowledge and research exposure, practical knowledge and also provides interactive classes for the students. This department aims to provide psychological concepts related to social, developmental, emotional, counselling, clinical, and cognitive and community concerns.
Psychology education aims to develop the human beings to be effective with the high ethical standards using holistic approach.
Providing students with career options in a wide variety of fields with in psychology, emphasizing specialized training in psychology through understanding themselves and other, attaining a basic knowledge of psychometric assessments and therapeutic principles.

The Psychology department aim to familiarize students with human behavior. Students learn how humans behave in different situations and how these behaviors can be managed. For better practical knowledge, both theories and practices are included in the course. Many skills are imparted in psychological students, such as analytical, rational, wise, calm, understanding, observant, and so on. The subjects of psychology are General Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Life span development, Psychology of crime, Psychological Statistics, Positive psychology, Experimental psychology, Biological psychology, Counselling psychology, etc.
