About the Department

Department of Commerce with Cost and Management Accounting has been established in the academic year 2020-2021 under the affiliation of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Our department offers an undergraduate programme Bachelor of Commerce with Cost and Management Accounting [B.COM. (CMA) ] a three year graduation programme which is Integrated with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). The curriculum of this programme is highly application oriented and hence the department follows a multidimensional pedagogy such as Lectures, seminars, workshops, Assignments, mini and major projects, industry interaction and flexible Curriculum framework on which courses are modelled. It is the pride of the department which has highly qualified and experienced eminent teaching faculties. The main motto of the department is to produce highly skilled and professional and ethical graduates in the growing global scenario.

Programme Description

The Commerce programs combine cost and the various sub-disciplines of accounting and management for enabling the students to develop analytical skills and gain knowledge in the accounting and finance.This programme suits for all professional courses like CA, CMA and ACS and helps students to get through in the preliminary levels. The programme offers many value added certificate courses, skill oriented open electives, industry training internships, hands-on training programmes and workshops.
