The anti-drug committee has been constituted to ensure a drug- free campus by imposing a total ban on the possession and consumption or use of drugs and alcohol by students of the college, within or outside the campus/hostels.
Objectives
♦️ To spread awareness to ensure a drug/ substance free campus.
♦️ To engage the students in anti- drug activities and educating them about the ill-effects.
♦️ To motivate the students to become volunteers of anti-drug activities in their life.
♦️ To ban totally the availability and sale of drugs in any form.
Functions
♦️ Formation of Anti-Drug Squad of the students’ volunteers at Hostels and the college.
♦️ Organizing various awareness programmes to educate the students about the ill effects of the use of drugs as well as the penalties for violation of the laws.
♦️ Displaying of Anti-Drug posters at prominent places for awareness of the students.
♦️ Organizing a session in Induction Programme against the use and possession of drugs/alcohol.
♦️ Obtaining undertaking letters from the students against the use and possession of drugs/alcohol.
