About the Club
The craft club was started in the year 2015. The members of the club are from various departments of the college. The club conducts activities related to crafts like embroidery, painting, flower making etc., Two workshops are conducted per semester. Meetings are held regularly to inform about the activities.
Objectives
♦ To impart the skill in creating crafts.
♦ To impart knowledge on the basic of craft techniques.
♦ To impart knowledge on the materials used for various types of crafts.
♦ To train them in the skill of making various crafts.
♦ To teach them making techniques of various craft items like cloth bags, wall hangings etc.

Club Activities
♦ Craft club organised a workshop on THREAD JEWELLERY MAKING by Anchor Embroidery on 11.8.2016 in construction Lab. Craft club students from other departments took part in this event.
♦ Workshop was conducted for craft club students on KALAMKARI PAINTING for two days. It was conducted from 21.2.2017 and 22.2.2017. Resource person was Mrs. Rama Rajesh, Faculty- Fevicryl.
♦ An ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP was organised for the craft club students for three days on 8.7.2017 to 10.7.2017. Students learnt about motif creation, motif development, Principles of Art, Elements of arts, saree border designs, Buttah designs.
♦ KALAMKARI painting workshop was conducted for the craft club students for two days by MRS. SELVA PRIYA on 29.1.2018 and 30.1.2018.
♦ TERROCOTA JEWELLERY MAKING workshop was conducted for Craft club students on 25.1.21 & 30.1.21 in the Construction lab through virtual mode.
Activities
