About the Club
Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18-30 to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. The Rotaract Club of HICAS was formed in the year 2014. It is one of the most important campus based club in Coimbatore which comes under the district code 3201. Now this club is stepping into the 8th year under the presidentship of RTR.Armash Ahmad. This club had done some quality projects last year under the presidentship of RTR .Asiqe Ahamad on the Rotary year 2020 – 2021.
Purpose of Rotaract Club
The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.
Objectives of Rotaract Club
♦ To develop professional and leadership skills.
♦ To emphasize respect for the rights of others, and to promote ethical standards and the dignity of all useful occupations.
♦ To provide opportunities for young people to address the needs and concerns of the community and our world.
♦ To provide opportunities for working in cooperation with sponsoring Rotary clubs.
♦ To motivate young people for eventual membership in Rotary.

Activities
♦ Attended the Rotary exchange students meeting on 09-08-2018 conducted at Midtown hall.
♦ The Rotaract Club of HICAS took part in the Annual District Awards Ceremony which took place in Kumaraguru College of Technology on July 07.2019
♦ The Rotaract Club of HICAS successfully completed their project on TRAFFIC AWARENESS PROGRAM along with the Rotary Club of Downtown and Rotary Club of Greencity on July 11 2019 at Upplilipalayam traffic signal.
♦ The Rotaract Club of HICAS was started in the year 2013 in the month of March. The Rotary year 2020 - 2021.
