The Department of Commerce Accounting & Finance (B.Com - A&F) established with pride in 2016, built on a strong foundation of academic excellence, application based learning and futuristic vision. The programme offer an outcome based syllabus which caters to the varying needs of students. The department consists of 17 well proficient faculties with rich experience in industry as well as academic. The enrolled strength of the program is around 360 students so far 3 batches have passed out from the department. We provide a proficient environment to nurture commerce professionals with high level knowledge and competence to effectively contribute to the society with commitment and integrity. We cheer the students to accomplish CA- CPT, CA- IPCC, CA-Articleship, ACS and CMA courses. The Department through its association COM PA & AF organizes International and National Conferences, Guest lectures, Seminars,Workshops and Industrial visits to the students equip themselves to be a part of the society and make measurable contributions.

To direct the students to the real world Professional Problems, Challenges in Work Environment, Seminars, Guest Lectures, Field and Industrial Visits. Students are encouraged to take up Mini projects, Consultancy, Industrial training in Industries and Entrepreneurship in and around the country. Graduates can avail opportunities to administer and formulate budgets, track costs and analyze programs also in budget analyzing in department where they are responsible for developing and managing organizations financial plans.
It was my fortune to be the part of Hindusthan College of Arts and Science - Coimbatore, where I can grow. My three years bachelor's degree program at Hindusthan have been a wonderful experience of learning with prolific exposure to outside. The entire faculty and department leaves no stone unturned to shape one's future. Huge respect, love and devotion for entire faculty members and department. It's their efforts that made me to count myself into a better professional. Being a part of new beginnings is always special and so is as my journey in Infosys .My experience in college has given me a chance to sharpen my skills. From nurturing our inner talents to eradicating the fear to speak up, Hindusthan has polished my skills and added a shine to my personality. Apart from just the academics, the plenty of events at hand, for students to organize as well as take part, is one reason why we should be at Hindusthan CAS. Being in Infosys , is no doubt that HICAS has inspired and groomed me to become part of it !
