The Department of Computer Technology was established in 2008. The department offers B.Sc (Computer Technology) as three-year undergraduate programme, headed by Mrs.K.Mythili , Associate Professor and is followed by 7 Faculty members with nearly 230 students. The department has well qualified, experienced and committed faculty to provide quality industry tuned education to the students. The department conducts many Hands-on Training, Seminars and workshops. Computer Technology Association organizes a National Level Technical Symposium “CTECH†yearly to exhibit the student talents. The Department is recognized under DBT star College Scheme sponsored by MHRD. The department has very good placement records and many students have been placed in WIPRO Technologies, AMAZON Tech Mahindra, TCS, CTS, INFOSYS, Accenture, Infosys, VEE technologies, KGISL, Velan InfoTech, Asec Technology, etc.

B.Sc. in Computer Technology is a 3 year full-time undergraduate program. The students are trained extensively with the computer, regarding the hardware and software. It is field of computer study as Integrated Course with IBM for Data Science. The course orients on practical classes and self-study during preparation of datasets and programming of data analysis tasks. The course prepares students to develop a deeper understanding of the various computer languages. Graduates can work in both the corporate and public sectors. They may work for software development firms, microprocessor system design firms, design firms, satellite television firms, and other firms. They can become Blogger, Technology Quality Analyst, Computer Executive and much more.
